July 15, 2021 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
‘The U.S. Labor Force – Latest Trends in the Road to Recovery’ with Stephanie Aaronson, Vice President and Director of the Economic Studies program, The Brookings Institution
Date: Thursday, July 15
Time: 12pm to 1pm EST
As conversations on the U.S. labor market, specifically debates over inclusion, wages, and post-pandemic job growth, continue to increase in Washington, we have reached a critical time for the U.S. economy. The number of citizens fully vaccinated is building, however pockets of under vaccinated populations remain and job growth has been inconsistent. Dr. Aaronson will analyze latest trends in the labor force including continued pandemic impacts on jobs and economic recovery, priorities for increased inclusion, and how the labor market may look moving forward.
REGISTRATION IS OPEN! Registration will remain open until 11am, Thursday, July 15, 2021. The link to the webinar will come in the registration confirmation email, not on the ticket email. If you do not receive a confirmation email or the event link by 11am the day of the event, please contact the NEC for that or any other questions at manager@national-economists.org.
