‘Corporate Credit Risk Emerging From The Pandemic’ with Michael Ryan, S&P Global Market Intelligence

Date: Thursday, April 14
Time: 12pm to 1pm EST

Stunned by a rapid series of complex unfolding events and market volatility, investors are fretting about the creditworthiness of corporate borrowers following a COVID-19-era debt binge. The war in Ukraine has sparked a bonfire of geopolitical and economic tension. Major central banks are set to embark on a monetary tightening cycle to arrest surging inflation but are conflicted by fundamental supply-side constraints in commodity and labor markets where their control is more limited. Michael Ryan, Economics Director at S&P Global Market Intelligence, will provide his thoughts on corporate credit risk coming out of the pandemic and the implications for the broader economy.

Please Note: If you do not receive a confirmation email or the event link by 11am the day of the event, please contact the NEC for that or any other questions at manager@national-economists.org.
