Maria is the Operations and Program Manager at the Group of Thirty. In this role, she assists with G30 events and seminars, oversees the publications process, and handles communications and day-to-day operations of the office. Ms. Cueto Velez holds a B.A. in Economics and International Affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University. While in university, she served as the president of GWU Women in Economics and a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon honor society in economics. She was born and raised in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Her fields of interest include Latin American studies, emerging markets, history, and political economy.
